Leaving tomorrow for a laid-back vacation of fishing/camping at my favorite island for 2 weeks. Anyone got some days off and want to surf or kayak fish around those parts, give me a ring. Taking the puter and should work down there.

got setup and hit the inlet for lowtide. Toted the yak down and only picked up 2 keepers, but one of the was on topwater.

I’m going to send a friend of yours down tonight. He is in Va. heading south. He should be in town in 5-6 hours!
decided to skip the Jeremy inlet today and try Frampton creek/ inlet. Trolled grub about 4miles, only catching 2 u/s trout while casting the bank around inlet.
Get back to campsite, and my neighbot took 7 keeper in 45minutes… lowtide this morning on grubs. Go figure.

Got down to the inlet before sunrise and caught 4 trout, 2 flounder, 1 spottail.
all were close to size limit
No more carp but a few big Asps… I think I ripped all thier lips off… getting harder to catch fish lately… gonna ty a couple new spots but I did nab a good one tonight… wind was WAY up yesterday to I took a day off fishin, 1st one since I got here, and nabbed one tonight and hooked one but it spit the hook… Working on trying to make a dough bait for the carp… seen some BIGGuns around today
