Eel Pots or Traps

I saw these today on TEMU, it looks like an outstanding deal. We used to make our own and put them out in the fresh-ish ponds around Raccoon Island and fill them up with eels. Use clam snouts as bait, pro tip.

Just to be clear, eels are like crack to cobia.

Enjoy

Some friends of mine staying on Goat Island, last week, got tired of catching Eels around the docks on the ICW.

Small pieces of Shrimp, on small hooks.

Remember, each Eel Pot must have a tag, from SCDNR, in South Carolina.
