El Dorado 060615

Professor Tom and I put lines in the water straight out (7:30am) around 120 ft at distinct temp break but only hooked into a few (big)little tunnys.

Kept trolling deeper into around 200-220 feet into another break which brought cooler water and picked up a few dolphin (2 were 12 lbs and one was a solid 20). Had something pound the WWB right before we headed in at 12:00 but we never got to see it.

Wish we would have gone deeper in hindsight.

There were scattered weeds everywhere. Saw the best weed line on the way in at Y-73 and again in 70 feet.

Ocean was nice on the way out but got pounded a bit at first on the way in with the west wind until it laid down.

Saw more sea turtles than usual on the way in.

So a hat trick of dolphin and a great morning on the water.

Always wishing for more but thankful for what we have …
