EL SALVADOR BILLFISH TOURNEY 23rd Year- NEED TEAM!

Capt Chris Starrs on the Sails Call needs a few anglers if interested.
Our team will travel and fish the ledge from Guatemala to El Salvador. unfished stretch of fishery!!
BOAT: Refinished 35 bertram, AC, 40 ft riggers, twin cummins.

Official Program

Monday Nov 8th- Arrive to Guatemala and head to lodge for R & R. 2nd option fly direct to El Salvador and avoid practice round commute on welcome day.

Tuesday Nov 7th- 4 am chug to El Salvador, first light run 60 miles and fish all day on the drop off (billfish zone). 3pm run to El Salvador to clear customs, catch tide, and prepare for Thursday.

Wednesday Nov. 8th. - 8:00 pm: Welcome cocktail, press conference and captain’s meeting.

Thursday Nov. 9th. - First day of fishing, boats leave the marina starting at 5:30 am. Lines in 7:30 am - lines out 4:00 pm: Happy hour, hors d’œuvre and entertainment at the marina at the return.

Friday Nov. 10th. - Second day of fishing, boats leave the marina starting at 5:30 am. Lines in 7:30 am - lines out 4:00 pm: Happy hour, hors d’œuvre and entertainment at the marina at the return.

Saturday Nov. 11th. - Third day of fishing, boats leave the marina starting at 5:30 am. Lines in 7:30 am - lines out 4:00 pm: Happy hour at the marina at the return.

Saturday Nov. 11th - 8:00 pm 'til… Awards ceremony and dinner.

Sunday Nov 12th- Sails Call Returns to Guatemala. Welcomed to ride back as well, or fly out from San Salvador. Usually round trips from the same place you flew in makes for a better flight rate.
