sometime in the last several weeks I had a sytex sonar and a lowrance gps go missing. Just fyi, so you all can be aware.
went out blind tonight and the U rig at probably 35-40 feet in Z2 was good to me, with a great sunset for background.
wish me luck on the HDS drawing !
I swear I think the only think worse than a liar is a thief. Hope you win the HDS.

Phil, thanks for the fishing repaort and head’s up on the theft. Curious-was your stuff stolen off of a docked boat or on the trailer? Always a concern of mine when I leave it docked…
stuff was on the boat, ‘docked’ on my lift, the mouth of bear creek

I’m beginning to think that a game camera installed on a boat dock would be a good investment if you could keep it disguised enough.
“Sire, it belongs in truth to the Church of God, in whose name I speak, to endure blows and not to inflict them. But it will also please your Majesty to remember that she is an anvil that has worn out many hammers.”…Theodore Beza
I just take everything off of the boat after every trip. It’s a pain but these days and times we do what we have to do. Sad commentary, but a few bad apples will always be out there. Best part for us, a couple of years ago, was when we had a deep cycle battery stolen. It wouldn’t hold a charge so we didn’t lose much!!
I try and take my stuff out but some things are just too difficult. I do remove my Humminbirds though- even overnight- when I’m there. Just too tempting for a dishonest person.
