emotion kayaks

was in pennsylvania last week and heard of a fairly new kayak company called emotion.checked them out as their home base is 20 miles from where i was in reading.nice company.they had some very nice kayaks and real good friendly service people.anyway, tried the “edge” model which is a 10 ft model sit inside.this thing paddles like a 12 ft or longer kayak.had mucho xtra waterline(15in).tracked very well for a 10 ft model.and the price at factory was 379.00.here in town i found out they have them at “east of maui” for 399.00.back to the factory…also tried out the “advant-edge” which is a 12 ft model similar to the pungo 120 ws.this is one awesome kayak.i would call it equal to the 120.price…599.00.not in stock in charleston yet.he says he is getting some though.tried the “mojo angler sit on top”.once again,a awesome fishing machine.anyway, this is a very good newer company.you can talk to the owner or his wife on the phone as i did yesterday.great warranty, also had a good touring quality paddle for 89.00 that was as good or better than 200.00 paddles i tried here in town.my problem now is i like all 3 kayaks i tried, and i could see using them all in different fishing situations here,so i think i better save my money, cause i think im gettin all 3:smiley:

i have the 12’ co-motion (tandem) by emotion and i love it. i just got it 2 weeks ago and look forward to everytime i can hop in it

yeah jonathan,i was amazed at the quality with all their yaks, and the prices are more than reasonable.im gonna start with the edge, and later the advant-edge,and by next spring, hopefully the mojo.i can see using all 3 of these kayaks for different types of fishing i do.the edge is a awesome little kayak, especially for 399.00.i paddled these yaks in the susquehanna river in pa last week.conditions were choppy with wind, and all 3 of these yaks were more than able to handle the conditions.i unfortunately did not get in the tandom, but based on their other models,im sure it is awesome as well.good paddling. surfman
