Engine Shuts Off While Trimming

I have a friend whose engine shuts off when he trims it up or down. It’s like the trim is acting as a kill switch. Running great during operation, just shuts off when he hits the trim button.

Any ideas? Thanks…

A friend of mine had the same issue. Turn out to be a bad connection to the battery.

Fuel injected engine? Either bad connection to battery or battery going south.

My Yam F115 did this, bad battery.
