Clemson had the opportunity to show they could compete with upper tier programs this year. You failed. You lost your two big games and only beat average teams this year. You want the ranking, go out there and beat FSU and compete with Georgia.

You do realize that if we had done what you say, it wouldn’t be a matter of top 15- it’d be a matter of top 5. We aren’t there yet. We don’t have the talent on offensive line to do more than “hang with” a top 5 team and knock them off occasionally when they’re missing their QB or something.
This was a rebuilding year for offense, and it showed in those games we lost. We couldn’t make plays when they were need
It’s unfortunate the two big games were very early and both on the road. With a healthy deshaun watson, and just a few games experience, and our defense, clemson could beat anybody.
With better coaching Stoudt was all Clemson needed this season.

I think Wisconsin tool a dive in their championship to let Ohio state have the chance to get in the playoff. Alabama isn’t playing Oklahomo in the nobody cares bowl this year. They will come to play.
