Wife and I headed out Stono Inlet at 6am on the 23’Carolina Cat. FOUND SCATTERED WEEDS. Ran out deeper nothing. Went back to scattered weeds and found a small rip with scattered weeds. Dropped lines (2) and trolled for about 30 minutes and had our first fish on at 9:30. Took her 20 minutes to get in the boat. Right after that I look over and see the Golden weed line about a half mile away we were hoping to find. Non stop action for 3 hours. They were big and plentiful and were hitting everything. Fished 2 lines all day. I think we were on the same weed line as “Two Sons”. Had to leave, fish boxes were full and we were wore out. Ended up with 13 and left them biting at 12.

How deep did you end up on that nice weed patch?

Thanks for the comments.The depth was 350 to 400 water temp was 79.8. Good talking to 'Two Sons"also…
