Epic Monday Night on the flats

Last minute trip after work on the late flood tide Monday with Tyler turned out to be epic. Soaked some cut mullet prior for a 1/2 hour which produced a couple nice fish. Once the water was high enough to get in (about 7:45), we jumped on the flat. It was my lucky evening. 3 happy tails were waving in my direction before dark and I managed to get all 3. #2 was by far the largest I’ve ever taken on the flat. My unofficial measurement was 36". Unfortunately, Tyler had the camera and was not close, but he did hear me screaming. Fish took most of my backing before I finally got him back into the grass.
It could not have gotten any darker when I caught this last one. I was just about to jump in the boat when I spotted him. Evenings like this just keep you coming back. Went to bed a happy man! Fished South. Razzmatazz!

You can thank me later for not joining yall! It would have been another colossal TG meltdown on that 36 incher if I was the 3rd man on the scene. Did the evening continue with an epic ipad session? When you catch fish, you normally post pretty quick. usb cord must have unplugged…
