Equalizing Batteries

I have a customer coming in from Maine that wants to try and equalize his AGM batteries. Need someone that has a 15.5 charger. I am in the battery business and we don’t have one. Anyone know of a source?

there’s several more topics you can do a search, but it seems the general consensus is to not try to equalize AGM batteries. Sounds like you got a stick boater coming down with bad batteries that he’s trying to get another season out of rather than pay up for new ones

I tried to talk him out of it, but he is insisting. batteries are 5 years old and seen their useful life.

typical blow boater, he’ll spend $100’s of your time to save himself penny’s

Might be a goose chase, but you never know. I always try and give good customer service regardless of situation. You never who’ s on the other line

have you given him a price?

Part of giving good customer service is knowing your limitations and following manufacturers recommendations.

I have recommended that he not do it,nor could I do it. I was trying to find someone in town who could. Lifeline gives step by step instructions on how to equalize their batteries.
