Hello All,
I am going to be at Folly Beach July 15 to 21.
I have always Surf fished,Trolled in a Kayak for sharks and Pier fished since the 70’s and enjoyed watching the King fishing. Well, this is the year I quit watching.

So I am looking for some opinions on my equipment for King on the pier.
Penn cv 6000 on a 9ft Penn rod, for throwing out the anchor And Penn 113h on a 6’6" Penn slammer as the fighting rod.

Far as the rigging I will need some advice on what and how when I get there. I have been making 80lb. 6ft leaders
