Equipment Storage

For those of you that dry stack or store your boat at a remote location - do you leave your gear on the boat?
I have been removing rods and tackle after every trip. The compartments are lockable so I feel like I’m wasting my time. The only downside I can see to leaving everything on the boat is the summer heat but I usually keep my gear in an unconditioned garage so I can’t imagine on the boat would be any different.

Tiger - I hear ya, I leave on what I can because I try to limit the lugging back and forth. I keep my boat drystacked and ours is on the lower rack. I have got on my boat and found a bunch of carona caps and cigarrette butts in the cuddy. My wife and I dont smoke and i think the only beer drank on my boat has been budweiser, bud light or miller lite…cans. I think it was just kids sneeking off to drink and smoke because they didnt take anything. Point being I always take the safe route now and take with me what is valuable. I do have a few inshore rods that are about on their last leg…I leave those on the boat. I take all my better rod/reels and gear with me just to be on the safe side. Hope this helps.
