for those of us around lake murray the exxon station on the irmo side of the dam has ethanol free gasoline. all three grades are ethanol free. i found this out today when i stopped there. glad to find some this close to the lake and lexington. just thought that i would let those that did not know this in on the news.
I heard that that the shell station by Acapulco had gone to 10% E on reg and mid, but premium was still E free (prob 5% on mid as they usually mix reg and prem to make mid)
that could be but the exxon is still a lot closer than up 378 for where i live.
Yea its hard to find e free gas now. I live toward Pelion, the old corders gas station has e free gas there also.
Correct about the Exxon on the Irmo side of the dam.
Also correct about Shell at Alcapulco turn. Was there on Friday and spoke with the cashier. No guarantee how long the premium will stay E10 free though.
Exxon in White Rock as well as the old PDQ (Hilton area on Chapin side) are also ethanol free.
We keep a boat in the water up near Alcapulco ramp, I have started toting gas in 5 gallon containers from Irmo.
Are there any E10 free gas stations in Southeast Columbia?
The closest that I know of is Gator’s in Triangle City / West Columbia. I haven’t fished the Congaree around Sandy Run in so long I’ve lost track of who has what.
i couldnt find and on garners ferry this week even the citgo took down the sign

I saw the same thing at the Citgo, though I have not stopped in to ask if they are no longer E-free. That sucks, it was 2 miles from my house and I thought I had licked fuel problems.
Help !! Anyone know of ethanol free gas in Little River, North Myrtle now that the fuel company is posting that they have ethanol in their gas.
Are ya’ll not using the Blue Stabil for marine engines?

Non-E gas means not having to worry as much about fuel issues. I use Sea-foam and blue stabil along with non-E gas.
Noticed that the Texaco at Old Dunbar Rd. and 321 in Cayce has E-free.
DFreedom…Do you use stabil and seafoam every time you fill up? Shop just decarboned the engine and want to stay on top of it. Thanks

Yes, as per my boat mechanic. He told me he has been running both every time he adds gas. I have been doing the same since late last Summer. So far so good.
Thanks DFreedom! I will do that. Whatever it takes to keep her running is worth it. Have any opinions on premium gas in a 2002 90 Merc. 2 stroke??? Only place close by that sells it only has it in the high octane. I am going to run out the gas I have now and start with the ethanol free. I know you can’t mix the two gases but I can’t possibly get all the gas out. Will it be alright if there is a little ethanol in the tank when I fill it up with the E free stuff. Sorry for the questions and sorry to hijack the thread. Thanks again for the help I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. Have a good weekend.

No problem and I am certainly no expert, just telling you what has worked for me. I know there are folks on here that could better direct you as to premium in your motor but I believe that I read somewhere recently that the older 2-strokes were rated for 87 octane, not the higher octane of premium. I believe that it is because the premium burns hotter which is not good for your motor. I don’t believe it will hurt to mix a little non- with ethanol as it will ultimately burn out as you run it. Take care and happy boating!
