We fished big water between bomb and Shull where we have been last 2 trips. 2 quick fish before we could set out all the rods. Pulled 2 5 bait, 2 9 bait u-rigs and a Stretch 25. Caught fish on the deep and shallow u-rig. Hooked up on what we thought was a big fish ok then stretch 25. Coming in we saw a huge wake and just new we had a monster. Then the Gar showed his face. What a far it was, it was a monster. Dad didn’t care, he had fun catching nonetheless. We had consistent action from 5:30-6:00 or so then nothing. Stripers were small. Thank god we were in the Gamefish because the water was super rough. Ready for cooler weather and concentrated big fish and get the boards out.
