My wife got a gallon of Evinrude Two Stroke oil while she was out today and it looks like motor oil I am assuming that they stopped dying it blue but the jug has the same labeling. Has anyone run across this? I just want to make sure that they took the dye out and nothing else is missing. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have some evinrude oil I used in my e-tec and it is motor oil colored.
Is it xd100 oil? That is motor oil colored. I got a quart of the semi-syn at Walmart for the tiller the other say and I saw 2 identically labeled bottles with one blue and the other honey/motor colored oil. I grabbed the blue colored because I thought there was a mix up when bottling.

It is synthetic blend two stroke outboard oil TC-W3 . It does not have 100 on it anywhere but like I said the labeling is exactly the same as the jug of blue I have. It says it’s approved for prefix,oil injection and direct injection. Kinda weird have never seen two stroke oil without a color. Go figure?

The only place I have seen the xd100 is seels. Wests, walmart, others do not stock it. Last time I bought it it was 46$ a gallon and it says on the bottle not for pre mix, injection only.
