Just bumping this up as a friendly reminder that this is next Saturday. Weather forecast is looking beautiful all week, so hopefully we’ll wind up with some weather like this weekend. If you plan on fishing and haven’t signed up yet, please do so over the next couple of days as I will probably go pick up the food Wednesday evening.

Thanks,
Tim

Unfortunately I’ll have to miss this one. My brother will be in town for USC parent’s weekend and we’re going to the game.

Good luck!

Cool … That’s better than the 100+ bass boats on the lake this past weekend …

You spoke too soon. I just read there is the “Mr. Lake Murray” bass TX on Saturday. They are expecting over 100 boats.

So 100 boats going in a straight line no matter what. At least they will not be running over my planer boards this week! Also do not have to worry abut them killing the downrod baits from bouncing up and down. Not that this has ever hapened to me!

Hey guys,
I’m not currently a member of MSC, but planned on joining soon anyway. Just wondering if I could bring a membership form and dues payment with me on Saturday morning and fish in the tournament.

Thanks,

This isnt MSC affiliated. Just a bunch of friends getting together for braggin rights. .hahah… Best thing to do is just come to a meeting or just mail your app in. I think meetings are better so you can meet some good people and introduce yourself.

either way hope to see ya out there sat. Schooling is really turning on and should be a great day.

Glad you posted. It never occurred to me that people might assume this is a MSC event. So just to clarify, like Chip said, this is just more of a get together to meet on the lake, hang out, have lunch and tell fish stories. Of course, the secondary purpose is to allow one person to take the title of Lake Murray Striped Bass Artificial Champion!!! (yes that wording is intentional LOL)

At this point, just let me know how many will be fishing and you can just pay the entry at the weigh in. That goes for anyone else that may still want to get in. It sounds like the fishing has been good and the weather forecast looks stable right through the weekend.

I’ll send you a PM

If it turns out to be anything close to Sunday afternoon then the only problem will be picking with fish you want to cast to … LOL … but on a serious note … anyone notice any MORNING topwater going on?? The last time I was able to see any AM topwater it was late morning (10 - 11:30) … if there isn’t going to be any serious early topwater then I’m going to have to figure something else out for the kids …

Went out Monday morning and there was some topwater action at the end of shull island around 9 in the morning.

Tim … do we all have to start out at the same ramp/location or is it just that “fishing” starts at 7am?

Also, I’m going to go ahead and fish as well … I just dropped $25 in the mail to you so you should get that tomorrow … I sent it in a Firm envelope so when you get it you can open it without fear that we’re suing you …

Can’t fish until 7:00, but put in anywhere.

Picked up another boat yesterday, so we are at 10 and if McKeepin decides to fish we will have 11 so far.

Weather looking good.

Bad time for my boat to be down, just when the fall action picked up.

I’m not sure if there is a “hidden” meaning behind your words … not sure what you mean by “calling” them up … are you meaning thumping the bottom of the boat or … like … on the phone??

I’m also not sure what “REALLY good artificial fish” you’re “on” right now … please explain … LOLOL:wink:

I’ll take ya out with us … I don’t know what the hell I’m doing 3/4s of the time and my boat is always overrun with kids, but heck, if you know where to go I’ll be your driver …
