The photo is from the Tire Reef off Hunting Island last year. Seems the big (20-40 Lb) reds gang up out there in November. Colder weather and fewer people to deal with. I feel confident the same will be true at the Charleston Near Shore as well. I had a 20’ Sundance Skiff that would beat the hell out of you on anything over 1’ seas but recently got a 24’ Seafox. Sure does take the seas better.
