False Fried Chicken

For those who have cholesterol issues or for those like me who want to avoid it as much as possible.

One pack of chicken breast.

Marinade chicken breast in milk(have been told buttermilk might work better but havent tried and milk does well) with favorite seasonings (I use a couple types of chicken rub/poultry seasoning, hot shot, season salt, a little old bay, and pepper) for at least 30 min longer the better).

Pre heat oven to 400F

Mix whole wheat flour (white would work fine but the WW is a little healthier) in a gallon zip lock with similar spice mix. Be sure to mix well. Coat each piece of chicken in the flour then lightly but thoroughly spray each piece with olive oil and put in a pan for the oven. Be sure every bit of chicken got sprayed or crust will not be hard it will be mush. Bake at 400 for 15 min and check internal temp. Depending on thickness it will be 12-18 min from there you want the internal temp up around 170+ and the crust to be crispy.

No it’s not just like fried chicken, but it’s close enough and quite a bit healthier.
