Sorry Mr. Partners Ship about your loss. I truly do hate a thief, and thought a bit of yuck yuck humor might make you smile.
Although I don’t advocate killing the thieves and harvesting their organs for my friends and family I would not be objecting to nailing their balls to the post the gates were stolen from and telling them I’d be a lot worse on them if they were there when I got back.
Man that’s just wrong. But I do see the humor in it.
You got to be careful dealing with thieves. In 1999 I was putting a roof on just down the road from my house. I came home for lunch which is not typical. I caught a guy stealing a battery out of one of my trucks. He took off running I chased him down and tackled him. Guess who went to jail. It cost me over $4,000 for them to drop the charges and expunge it off my record.
And you ask what did the police do with him. Let him walk away. But karma can be a b#@*. Fortunately for me he was found dead from an overdose about 2 months later…
