I’m in the DR, took a charter out hoping for Marlin.
Two hook ups, and one big blue kinda sniffed at the lure, but no luck.
Got about 20 dolphin, and a barracuda, great day on the water tho.

Who’d you fish with?
Had a great time, my wife and I came out last Wednesday, she left Monday, I had to stay a couple of days for work.
Went out with Gone Fishing, "Jack Rougerie, jack@gonefishing-puntacana.com. I would recommend him without hesitation, picked me up at hotel, took me back, Captain and mate were great. Captain told me to come back in August/September for best shot at marlin, but the Dolphin kept me busy. PM me and I will give you some ideas, had an amazing day in the north, hiked with a guide for an hour or so up a mountain, then came down via a bunch of waterfalls, jumping into the pools and floating down the stream. found fossils and had the place to ourselves, will remember that for ever.went to a monkey sanctuary as well that was amazing.

I know someone who mated there this past winter & spring. they leadered as many as 8 bm in a day. yes 8.
