Headed out of south edisto at 7:00 a little rough maybe 3 to 4 but laid down once we started trolling, fished 75 to 95 feet at about 30 miles, 5 dolphin, 4 kings, and a little tunny, back in at 3:00.
Just went to spend some time with the old man and wasn’t expecting to catch much (our boat’s small and can’t get out very far). Actually ended up catching a few and had a blast with my dad. The two of us had a time trying to drive, gaff, and reel all at the same time it was pretty hilarious. I’ve caught a litle tunny before and we just threw them back, but this one was getting all tangled up in another line and we had to gaff it, are they any good to eat.
What we kept:

Oh yeah, the Lehi bleeding dolphin and a blue and white sqwitch behind a bird chain were what we got most on
They are edible but not very good!
They make good bait, but don’t taste very good.
Good job on the nice day out there.

Thanks joe, it wasn’t last weekend but it was still fun.
You fishing with brian in the megadock?
Oh, what did you do about your boat? I was sorry to hear it was more serious than y’all first thought.
