Father and I hit the water by 6:30 Saturday morning and were back at the dock by 10:30 that morning. Caught close to 60 bream that morning but could only find 10 worth keeping. Went back out the same spot that afternoon and kept 20 in an hour. What a great why to spend the day with my dad. Hope everyone had a safe weekend on the water.
John, are y’all fishing lily pads or trees?
We were fishing in the lily pads. Got one to bite and then it was on from there. The bite was a little slow could pick up four or five and then come back in ten minutes and pick up four or five more. I fished a lot of water before I found the big blue gill. I hope to find them again this weekend. Good luck out there also was told by a buddy of mine that the cats are biting really got in the diversion.
