Spent an hour or so at the pond with my little on Sunday before heading to the river. She caught 4 that were about 1-2 pounds on a black worm with chartreuse tail. She was using a St. Croix Triumph paired with a Abu Garcia Revo Inshore baitcaster. I casted, she caught fish and reeled them in. The smiles were electric.
She’s officially hooked…every day this week so far when I’ve picked her up from camp it’s “can we go fishing today Dad?”
Can’t wait to watch this one grow up.
