What’s everyone’s favorite artificial lure? With jighead or not?
Some days I want to be able to take the kayak after work and not have to try to either buy or castnet live bait.
Thanks y’all.

I think you have the answer to your question in the posts above. When fishing artificials, I dont think color matters as much as presentation. Every color z man i have tried so far i have been able to catch fish on. Remember to fish such plastics slow. When you think you are fishing too slow, slow it down a bit more. Many people fish too fast when using artificial plastics. Most fish will hit the bait on the fall. Keep a tight line and good contact with the lure as it falls so you can feel them when they strike. Dont get in a habit of not working the bait all the way in though. They dont only hit on the fall.
