Favorite Colors

Lately I have been having good luck with artificial shrimp (DOA and others). I seem to have the best luck with natural colors.

Just wondering what other color combos people are having luck with this time of year.

I like black with sparkles D.O.A cal
Or electric chicken (pink and green)

“In every species of fish I’ve angled for, it is the ones that have got away that thrill me the most, the ones that keep fresh in my memory. So I say it is good to lose fish. If we didn’t, much of the thrill of angling would be gone.” Ray Bergman

Electric chicken paddle tails, white DOA’s, and any green grub is what I like to throw for trout as soon as the water gets a little cooler.

I have the best luck with natural colors, and kinda opposite like white. Do have good luck with white gulp shrimp. and thats any time of the year.

I like DOA root beer w a chart tail, shrimp z man paddle tail, and of course any kind electric chix is always good. I like that new penny gulp shrimp too. I have always liked white too for some reason. If i had to pick only one color to use for the rest of my life it would be white. For any species.

To echo others, I like WHITE. Particularly the “Sugar Spice Glow” color in Gulp shrimp. Also “New Penny” and I think what is called “Natural” or “Molting”.

I like to use Chartreuse and Red in swimming tail soft baits, too.

Had good luck last Winter with the white Gulp jerk shad 5". Caught some big fish on the 7" also even though I hear you should fish smaller baits in the winter.
