One beer while making it out past the rocks is tradition. After bouncing out to the ledge a pack of nabs or chips. Noon, serious sammich time and more chips. Next beer. ummm beer snacks for a while then.
Umm, you gonna eat that?

Similar to jstrange, I ceremonially drink a beer at sunrise, and usually one more on the way back in. Food varies, but I almost always have my own jar of peanut butter and a spoon.
I like when we used to catch a small YFT or blackfin and chilled it - sliced with lime wasabi soy -

Realfish01 found this on line while we were researching a way to kick up our lunches to the next level. I have found them in most any truck stop for about $32.00. Will heat your lunch wrapped in tinfoil fast, up to 300deg. Made a jumper with alligator clips for boats that don’t have the 12v lighter plug. I precook most meats so I’m not trying to figure all that out on a rocking boat. The sky is the limit, Brats and sauerkraut, Hotdogs, Venison Sausage subs, Venison Meatball subs, hot Venison Pastrami with Smoked Provolone on Rye Bread. Nice to have a warm lunch this time of year and in the fall when jumping in the water makes you swallow your nads! We do a lot of fresh Wraps in the summertime and Sriracha Fish salad(Fishcrazy’s Recipe) tops. I prepare all the ingredients ahead of time then build the wraps at lunch so the wraps aren’t soggy. Always try and carry Soy Sauce, Wasabi and Black Bean Sauce for appetizers!
Cold beer a must and always on the ride home after dive trips! Skeeter-g makes a killer Frozen Margarita for the summertime ride home! Crews are selected by their past menus! Bottom of the list are the Subway providers!
If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
Bugcatcher is on the cutting edge of offshore culinary enjoyment. It’s pretty understandable that on a 150 mile grocery run, the crew deserves a decent meal. Like I said earlier, just because you are burning tons of gas doesn’t mean that you have to eat like you are at a gas station.

Bologna and Cheese Sandwich. Fried chicken. Cheez Itz. Beer if the person I am riding with will allow it but it is not a necessity.
