Dollar Tree always has some pretty cheap/mysterious lunch “meats” for sale.

PB&Js and Pimento cheese sammiches. If someone with some money is coming I make them pick up roast beef.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Amen. Salt and vinegar potato chips for that.

Edit: I don’t eat breakfast before heading offshore and I’m usually careful about supper and drink the night before. Beer is a good breakfast.

An orange on the way out. A venison, egg and cheese wrap that my GF makes after that if my stomach feels up to it. Venison snack sticks for good luck when needed, then a late lunch, often on the way back in. I learned quickly from bugcatcher that just because you are offshore doesn’t mean that you have to eat like you are at a gas station. We all take turns bringing our gourmet lunches to share for the whole crew; Often in wrap form for simplicity but we have had everything from seared yellowfin to gator tail bites with home made datil pepper sauce to wild boar sausages grilled up fresh on the boat. When in season I always try and bring some pickled okra from the garden. I make it super spicy so just a few will do you.

Dramamine and more Dramamine, not really I never get sea sick and have a strong stomach and appetite. But never really ate like a baller (gourmet) on a boat usually more like a man short on time or a one armed man.
