Curious as to what everyone’s favorite pattern/fly is for schooling winter redfish?
Depending on the fly, any stripping, or simply let it sit?
small decievers/ EP shad flies. i try to keep its movement to a tickle, dep on how agressive they are acting.
This’ll be my first time around for the winter reds, so I can’t speak from experience, but I’ve heard that darker colors with subtle movement is best - small black clousers and the darker rootbeer copperheads.
