Work is finally slacking up some, so I think I’m actually going to have some time to hit the water soon. I’m wanting to sit at the vice and crank out some flies today, but not really sure what to tie up.
What are your favorite winter flies for reds/trout in this area? Thanks!
been fishin’ small dark toads for reds, will see if they will eat in the cold today…

I like a 1.5 inch black clouser with big bead chains. I also make a toad-esque mud minnow lookin thing as well that works pretty well.
Small, dark and light …play around with and without flash.
