Ran out @ daybreak - nice & calm.
@ 75’ - cut & frozen bait: lots of small sharks, nice black & orange too. One bsb was followed up by a shark but not the normal gray or brown - more blue in color. 150+ and we tried a wire rig in hope of it returning.
Wx buoy had bait but tough hooking them
@ y-73 - more sharks @ a few structures
@ 130’ - brown, red, orange, pink and over a half a dozen king mackerel on frozen menhaden & sardines. Few sharks & AJ’s too. Lost a lot of rigs & lead to the toothy crowd on drops.
I like the color code. Sounds like a lot of throw backs. I went for a evening jog on the beach and it was glass for miles. I figured a report would follow. That shirt though.
Man, I hate I couldn’t get out with you guys and after seeing the “sea of glass”, I’m even more bummed out. Glad y’all had a good day. I’ll get out with you guys one day soon I hope.
“Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It’s Hand”, but really, who cares?
I can’t stand it anymore. I waited all day for someone to say something!
You’re holding that imaginary fish all wrong.
It’s my understanding that all those fish released are to be considered dead. Obviously I am not supporting a midsection of a fish. Rather, I am simulating holding 2 supposedly non-existent fish by their gills to insure the outcome comply with current Bozo Science.
The SeaQualizer got a work out and in my mind/heart there will be more than sharks and reef donkeys for the kids and their kids.
