February redfish are a plenty....

I’ve been throwing the fly at em, but still can’t connect. Live bait will almost get you as many as you want right now. Last few trips I’ve gone through three dozen shrimp and an dozen mudders and a few blue crab quarters. As long as its fresh, they don’t seem to have a preference for me. Most are slot and upper, no little guys lately.

Get out there and get you some. Charleston is a beautiful fishery year round. We are truly blessed.

23,

Do you know of any hot spots that are accessible from land? I’m planning to go this weekend. Don’t need specific coordinates, just want to make sure I’m not wasting my time. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Ricky, your skill with a rod and reel is only overshadowed by your skill with a camera. The eagle , shrimp, and mm shots are great.

If I were fishing from land, I’d try the Pitt street first…but its be guessing. I’ve seen reds in that area before, but haven’t fished around there lately.
