32 boats braved the weather for a great turnout. you will notice I had a little trouble with uploading the images all the same size. Just one the the things we have to figure out since we have grown so much. When I use the sipping tool I have to figure out how to resize.
special thanks to Van Cook for building the new scoring model. Much easier for the TD’s and displays much better data. Thanks Van!
30 boats weighed in fish with 27 weighing a two fish limit. Here is the fish data for the weigh ins so far.
32 boats fished…that is amazing to see the club grow to that type of participation. Hats off to a great club. Hope to see those numbers throughout the year.

It was great to see the new teams and get to know the newer members. Nice to see new folks up on the leader board as well. Can’t wAit to see participation as the weather improves.
Congrats to Donnie and Team Wildman on a close win. That 2 fish weigh-in is a nail biter.
Was nice to get back out there again and drag some bait around…it’s been a while. Good to see everyone again, too.

-RIP my “Puppy Dog” 10/15/2004 - 1/14/2013. I’ll never forget him. What a special friend he was.
Congrats to Donnie and Team Wildman, and Danny and Townsend also… Its not as bad as it sounds I guess, getting beat by a team of wild men. Are they from Borneo?
As I tweak the scoring software I was asked if other info such as “average fish size” and “yearly totals” could be tracked. I have played with that for both our “club averages” and “individual team averages”. Examples are below… It will be up to the tournament directors on if and how they wish to use and share this info, however it can be tracked at least for now. Should be fun and informative to look back on the data at year end.
If you happen to see a couple of teams where the 2nd fish weighs more than the 1st fish, remember that it is up to each team captain to determine which fish they claim as “Big Fish” and weigh in first.
Thanks Rick and Jon Boy… If you look back at the sample image from the February results in this thread from 2/24 that I posted, you see the monthly tournament results sheet is broken down to show Points and Total Weight in order by points and weight. That will be available for each tournament.
For the monthly breakout of Big Fish & Total Weight in the image just above, since this will constantly be changing each month, leaving this alphabetically is probably better and easier if I understand your suggestion. But for the “Individual Team YTD Averages” above I could see where possibly sorting that by “heaviest total weight first” might be better viewing in some ways. I just initially tried to make it easy for everyone to look for their YTD info quickly by alphabetizing by team name. Let me think on that one for a possible future change.
If my math thinking is correct you could theoretically have a heavier total weight at year end, but not necessarily be first in the points if you did not consistently perform over several months. The points system appears to weigh towards consistent performance, rather than catching a few big fish on occasion which you know. Thanks for the suggestions… I promised Joby no more tweaks or changes for a couple weeks so I will keep these thoughts in mind for the next revision.
