Feeding

Is it to early to start corn in a timed feeder

Not new to hunting but new to owning property with lots of deer

Woodfloats?

Nope…get to feed’n!

All year round, and visit your feeders regularly. Deer get used to your scent and movements and don’t get as spooked when you start hunting. Stop by a feed store and pick up a 50lb mineral/salt block (the brown one) and set it on a couple of bricks near your feeder. When you put them straight on the ground they dissolve too quick. I’ve had mixed results though. Some make it almost 8-10 months in the weather while others are gone in 3- 4 months. You can get the little 2 lb labeled just for deer or spend the same on a 50 lb for horse and cows that does the same thing.
