I’ll answer your question yes they are everywhere creek beds beaches mud flats. Catching the however is the issue. They are elusive. Find a tidal area that’s exposed at low tide. Usually I can catch about 3 dozen in a half hour. They are not easy.

If the marsh grass is short (18" or less) the ground should be firm enough to walk on. If the marsh grass it tall you will sink up to your hips. Pro Tip…
