Know a young lady that just got hired this week. She starts the first of next month.
Interesting exhibit. Hardly any of those animals live anywhere near here. Although I did see a cougar the other day.
IDK, I see two black bear, coyote, beaver, raccoon, and Asheville NC is not too far away where they have elk now.
Although it’s been a while since I saw a moose, wolverine, or a muskox.
Nice display.

I guess they want to sell you the gear to travel and see the animals…? Looks like they are going to have a lot of long gun inventory. Definitely a bass proish idea in the store.

Field and Stream markets a lot of their stuff in Dick’s. I happened on a sale one year while in Myrtle Beach (Dick’s) and bought my son and I both a pair of Field and Stream GoreTex lined hunting boots. I figured we would get a season or two out of the boots, That was at least 5 years ago and my boots are still going. Just this year during Turkey season I started to get a little dampness but still no major leaks in the boots. I’d buy another pair tomorrow. Can’t vouch for any of the other stuff they are going to sell.

Stopped in while out with daughter , she wanted to check about a job. Needed to be 18 , well in a few months. They said they were still looking for some specialists in fishing , kayaking , hunting if anyone was interested . Very nice looking with a stone fireplace and the mounts though out the store. Also was by Sports Authority the guy said they would be closing on Aug 1 , they still had ammo at 30% off but will be shipping out most goods more than liquidating the store.
Field and stream is owned by dick sporting goods. I wonder if field and stream will go the way of sports authority when bass pro opens?

Field and Stream is Dick’s answer to Cabela’s/Bass Pro. It is designed to compete with them.
