My rapala fillet knife is about to kick the bucket. What would be a good replacement? I have never been a big fan of the rapala so I would like to try somethin else.
I use a wooden handle rapala for B-liners, pinks , BSB’s , small grouper and sheephead. For flounder it is a long flexible dexter russle, for triggers it is a 6" dexter boning knife. A 12" dexter cimitar (breaking) for large dolphin, large grouper, sword, and sharks. a 12" Forshner butcher for tuna.
The Rapala is easy to keep sharp, cheap, and works very well for gp cleaning.

“Back home we got a taxidermy man. He gonna have a heart attack when he see what I brung him”
I use a rapala electric knife and that thing is sweet for most fish large scaled or tough skinned fish.
Russell, mid priced, takes and holds a good edge.
