I got a Malibu hull for free and need to fill some holes that were drilled into the glass. I’ve heard bondo absorbs water and will fail after a short period of time. Any suggestions? I’m not looking to go broke just to fill a few holes…
Every piece of tail you turn down is a piece of tail you didn’t get.
Rap, my Whaler has over 2 gallons of bondo that I used while making it and that was allmost 30 years ago. Bondo is just a trade name for thier products. Depending on size of hole and location, long strand reinforced bondo, short strand reinforced bondo, unreinforced bondo, with or without piece of fiberglass matt or marine tex$.
