10/02/2012 Not quite a full cooler but considering the time invested…not to bad. We left Sumter at 8:30am and starting throwing at 11.00am outside of Belvedere Creek in BB. Pulled poles at 1:30pm with shrimp still on them but we were running out of water. We didn’t want to make the long trek back thru the ocean so we made a run for the creeks with about 1.5ft of water on the flat. Another 15 min. and we would of be waiting a couple of hours for the turn. Had a few HUGE flippers come by plowing around our poles but they moved on. Only one other boat close to us. Maybe the little bit of rain convinced the shrimp to move on out of the creeks??? Dunno, but I feel a little better about the season now.
Dem big ones too!!!
That is some good work and encouraging news…
