When I got home this evening, my Merchant Mariner Credential was waiting for me. All the hoop jumping and being 100 billed to death is over. Tomorrow I plan to look into proper insurance. Once that’s dealt with, I plan to entertain clients on a part time basis while still teaching.

It’s been interesting. I know people who’ve gotten masters degrees easier than I got this license.:smiley: I look forward to hopefully earning some extra income while sharing my love of our sport with others.

Congrats. By the way it is a govt issued ID so it can be used in places that require one…its funny to see peoples faces when you give them that in place of a “normal ID”…

It messes with their head when I give them my VA Disabled Veterans picture ID for voter Registation!
