how did you do it?
my dad has been after to me to make a flying tiger out of some kind of boat for years. i sent him that pic of your yak and he’s now redoubled his efforts. hahaha.
My screen was cropping off the right side of the photo and I couldn’t understand what was so unique. Finally got it.
I’ve been teaching art for about 17 years. I’ll give that an “A.”
ha! you guys are awesome, thanks - I like it too. It was pretty easy, I just hit the front at an angle with black spray enamel, let that try and then added the red “tongue” part - also spray enamel. For the eye, just made a cut out eye-shape stencil and hit it with the black and red. Then came back with high gloss brush-on rustoleum white enamel and added the teeth and white part of the eye.
Just took it out for the first time today in the Folly creeks. Not a nibble, but a good time for me to learn more about kayaking.
