Finally found a few around Bushypark

Fished salt side of Bushypark today & tried a few new areas. I know a spot I can always catch nice eating size catfish & a few trout but, really want to find some spots I can catch redfish on the Cooper.
After about an hour & half, I finally got a bite on a grub on a fishy looking bank and caught 14" flounder. So, I slowed way down and just took my time trying to pick it apart ended up catching 5 different species off that bank. Then went to usual spot and caught a couple of trout to top it off.
Glad I put in the time and tried some different stuff. Time will tell if itll be consistent. Going to go do some more searching for few hours tomorrow. The trout , bluefish, & striper came on topwater, the rest were on a grub. Appreciate all the feedback, it definitely helped me eliminate some water.

Awesome day, and thanks for the pictures.

6 species is impressive

Nice work! Hope I can get down there soon!

Nice catch and thanks for introducing yourself this morning. I went up river because the Wind was a bit hi for casting.

It was a pleasure to meet you. Didn’t have much luck today. I went down to what I believe is called Turkey Creek by the weapons station throwing grubs and top water couldn’t buy a bite. Fish the mouth of yellow house at the south end and missed a couple of fish on top. Decided to call it a day and go clean the boat. Think next time I’ll keep focusing on learning more upriver I seem to do better there. Those are some nice fish you caught!

You were one largemouth away from the Margarita Slam sir! Nice catchin.
