Stop by a spot after work. Throw the net by some grass looking for atleast some shrimp to get started. Caught a dozen and one 5 inch mullet. I thought jackpot. Bait up my Crig with the mullet and give it a toss. Grab the net and load up for another toss and the rod bends over. Fish On!!! Guy steps up and says you must have a shark or a big stingray with the way that things pulling. I reply no way it’s a big red. After 5 minutes or so. I get him in the net. A quick pic and a measure. As I thought my personal best 25.5 inches. Can only imagine what those big bulls feel like. One day I’ll get my chance.
Nice fish. Keep fishing, you’ll beat your best in no time.
Your picture made me dizzy.

Nice red. Great fighting size.
Is flipping the image upside down a new way of keeping people from discovering your fishing hole?
iPhone saves the image flipped. Don’t get to go often enough to stake claim on a spot. It would be nice for y’all to continue putting your boat in and go find the really big ones while I catch the one at the hill unless you need an extra man that is.
I’ve seen people fishing at that boat ramp, never saw anyone catch anything. Nice red though, congrats!

I get lucky every once in a while.
There are lots of reds nearby here. Its a good little spot, it just gets lots of traffic.
It does get a little hairy at times.
Is that Daniel Island ramp?
Awesome red by the way!
On second thought, dont answer that! I don’t want your spot blown up
