At last we got on them good… have spent the last 3 years learning new places and methods… We really did good this weekend fishing the backside of low tide in Hamlin and around the ICW… I read a lot on here and want to say thanks to the guys that have helped…
It’s a treat for this flatlander to get down there and not come back with tall tales of bluefish and ladyfish!!

Caught 7 trout and six reds Friday and a little better than that on Saturday…
I know that’s not tearing them up, but its better than what it’s been… The fish are obviously more active this time of the year…
I fished several spots Saturday that I never fished before and just “looked” like they should hold fish and a couple did…
We didn’t keep every fish we caught… just enough for dinner and a few to take to the wife and kids for dinner tonight…

Take time to make a notebook of the tides, weather, lures used , and anything that may pertain to your success
It will help you spend more time catching and less guessing
