NO! You looked on Bonzos Bargains and found them on sale somewhere! Tell us you didn’t?
Did you go shrimping with LSK?
Well I’m glad you found some somewhere. I’ve been on Bulls every afternoon into the evening this week and it has been hands full only. And then only at the turn of the tide. Headed back home with about a tenth of a cooler. (Until I make the docks, then they’ll turn on with the heads already off.)

When you buy them off the dock right now are you getting all good sized shrimp? or are they mixed like the bait shrimpers take.

these were very nice shrimp…not sure what the technical size is but I would call them large…all were at least 2 bite shrimp…

Since it looks like that will be the only way I will fill my freezer this year, do you mind me asking where and how much?
same here bonzo; where and how much please. i am going to try and get down this coming week for a day but am prepared to buy 50#; put them in the cooler and then tell any story that i want. oops; excuse me. i need to tell the truth i guess. do not want to get that “look what i caught” rep. ha ha
Come on Bonzo… let’s get together at SCB&G soon and discuss this lousy shrimp season!
For what it is worth, I just started bait shrimping this year and love it… I don’t have 50# yet (only been out twice, don’t really consider the first time), but if I don’t by 11/13, then I will drive the Jeep up to Carolina Seafood and do exactly what you did.
Erster Shooter anyone?
j
carolina seafood and livingstons have large ct ( i think 21-25)for about 3.50 /pound …and i think that they have some that are larger too…but not sure of the price. Might check with sells fish too and I also was told Crosbys had a heads on deal. Shrimp are really pretty from the boats right now…
