Finally

Just came across the Congaree and SCE&G is pulling a good amount of water out of Murray. This should help the Santee rockfish make a spawn. Maybe SCE&G will make more of an effort to store water in late winter for a spring release to help the spawn. Anyone been fishin the river? They should be up to Cola by now. Please, release the breeders, if you can.

The flow has been pretty good all spring, nothing like the last two dry years. I know the small fish were there a couple weeks ago and heard the big ones are there now. Should be a successful spawn. Hopefully the catfish and white perch leave some to grow.

Today was the first time that I’ve seen the rocks covered between Gervais and Hampton with green water in a while. Some of the good rains have provided a proper flow of runoff. Let’s hope the rains continue.

yes, but only during the week!!!

hey flatlander, you fishing the tournament?

Water is back down. Looks about as low as its been this year. I think the water they ran was strictly to generate electricity.
