For the first time in a couple years I’m finally getting to leave Charlotte and come visit the lowcountry with the girlfriend Sunday and Monday. Loooooooooooooooooooong overdue. Probably will bring a rod or two with me to Folly while she lays out Ill fish. If yall see a mid twenty’s aged guy and girl on Sunday or Monday surf fishing stop and say hello!

Ha well good luck… my buddy fished folly the other day and tore them up. Feel sure you will do the same. Be sure to spend time with the girlfriend too, mine is starting to get annoyed ha
Thanks Elcid I sure hope so! Any last minute tips or advice from you or your buddy? Trust me we haven’t even left Charlotte yet and after me messing with fishing rods and reels for 3 hours…well you get the point haha

If you can talk your girlfriend into going to the North end of Folly by the rocks, where no one really goes, I would go there to fish. You’ll be sure to catch some whiting and maybe even hook up with some blues and sharks. If the girlfriend won’t let you go up to the North end I would try about 100-150 yards to the left of the pier. Gotta watch out for people in the surf there though. Good luck
