First Charter

Went out on the 8th with the Teaser2 for a half day. Had an AWESOME time. Capt. Brown hooked us up with some menhaden on the way out and fish on. My first experience with the AJ’s, I now know why they call them reef donkeys. And we picked up enough bsb’s and a grouper among other for a fantastic fish fry on Edisto. Very impressed with the crew and already planning our next trip with them. I would highly recommend them.

I caught a huge aj while on the thunder star when it ran out of mt pleasant. Should have seen me trying to run around and through the people on board! Lol

Told Donnie he better be finding me a ride offshore for my birthday this year!

Glad you had a good day of fishing!

Hello penfishn, very nice to meet you. I used to take my son out on the Thunderstar also, but I think our experience on the Teaser2 was by far more exciting. We did have a few tangles with 11 people on the boat, but the crew had us fishing again in no time. Although after 2 aj’s I was missing the electric reel…lol. Hope your Birthday wish comes true.

oh the thunderstar is no comparison to the Teaser2 and Capt Mark Brown!!! I have heard its a great boat and crew and am sure they did show yall a good time!!!. I had never even considered going on it (thunderstar) had a friend of ours not asked us to go with him. It was a trip! WAs just lacking a few of being full that day…a snotty day it was and several folks thought being down in the confines of the cabin would help their sea sickness. Not a good choice. I spent a little while trying to help a mom with a 10 yr old seasick child who screamed"I want to go home" at the top of her voice…until I couldnt take the screaming anymore  Felt really bad for her…but wow :)There were a couple guys who were regulars and very territorial about the bow…I found that out quickly enough…finally politely asked them if they had paid more for their ticket then me after they moved my stuff for the third time  that AJ was a blast  think it weighed in the thirties. some guy from upstate asked me if he could have it and it was funny seeing him drive off with only the head stuck down in his cooler  we still laugh at that trip…and will have to admit it was fun…Fishing is fishing

I’ve fished with Mark several times. Top notch experience. If you had fun on the half day trip, you need to do the full day trip. The more time to get a little further offshore puts a little more variety in your bag.

I know what you mean penfishin, and like you said fishin’ is fishin’ and catchin’ is a bonus. skinneej, I will definitely try the full day(already trying to talk some of the guys in my shop into the next trip), but not before I hit the gym and prepare…lol. I was wore out, but I’m sure the 3 hours of sleep contributed a little.
