First day fishing in Charleston, first day fishing salt water, first day fishing out of kayak. First red fish 
and first spotted sea trout. Thanks a ton to J.P. who has extra kayak and took me to Folly Beach. Spent the entire day on the water. JP has pics of his trout and me with red, and ear to ear grin (hopefully he can post). Nothing to brag about, but it was a slot and caught at low tide, so I’ll take it. Caught trout and red on my first attempt at popper cork and scented DOA shrimp. DNR checked licenses, mine was purchased yesterday. What a fun day !!!
Many go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.
