First fish in the new ride

Solid.

Decided the FS17 was a no go?

Did you already get a poling platform on it? You don’t mess around
Nice fish and pics

Rap, I couldn’t pass up this deal on a pristine gheenoe. I don’t think I could have built out the hull for what I paid for this, much less power it.

I still want to build a boat someday.

Optiker, I rigged a wooden frame that I strap an old cooler to. It works for now. The boat will be getting a configuation change to the inside, so I don’t want to put too much time/$$$ into a platform who’s design may change a bit with the end product. I did speak with those guys in Summerville about the platform. I’ll be dropping by there probably next week to see what they can offer.

A long long slow walk in the spartina gives you time to think big thoughts and put your mind back into order.

Wondered if you made it out…very rewarding I’m sure.

Want to sell that pushpole, Roger???

I really appreciate you letting me borrow it.

Not as long as I have the boat that needs the pole.

Sweet! Those Gheenoes sure are cool. A buddy just got one, can’t wait to fish it!

Ghenoes are awesome. There is a great thread at interant angler on a rebuild that Zach Mathews did of his. Really cool.
